This program relies on the donations of our member families and our collective fundraising efforts to maintain an active and rewarding band program for our students. Your contributions make a world of difference to the opportunities we are able to provide for our kids and we thank you for choosing to support the work we do together!
The Panther Band Parents is the official booster organization of the Newbury Park HS Band and is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit. Your donations to the Panther Band Parents are tax deductible and we are happy to provide you with a receipt for your donation for tax purposes.
No student will be prevented from participating in any part of the NPHS Band program because of their ability or willingness to make a donation.
Marching Band Fair Share Donation – $500
This fair share donation is requested only from students participating in the Marching Band program. The donated funds will be used to cover all costs associated with producing a high quality competitive field show each fall including coaching, original music and choreography, props, costumes, travel, equipment, and entry fees. This donation also helps to offset the costs associated with a weekend trip to a major regional competition each year.
NPHS Band Annual Donation – $200/yr
This donation is requested from ALL Newbury Park Band families once per year to support the operational costs of running a high school band program such as: instrument purchase and repair, sectional coaches, music purchase for the Concert Band and Jazz Bands, travel expenses to attend regional festivals and competitions, and festival entry fees.
Panther Band – Uniform Maintenance Donation – $100/yr
This fund was created for the maintenance and eventual replacement of our band uniforms and concert attire. All students in the NPHS Band program are asked to raise or donate $100/year to help maintain our uniform inventory so our kids always go out looking sharp!
